Yeah... seems super high. I don't imagine that it maintains a perfectly cylindrical shape as it rests on the ground, though. One wonders what the weather effects would be of something like that.

I took the liberty of editing @Sitting-Duck's answer to include the page number.

@Thunderforge from the ETU Core Book: "Characters can attempt to lead or participate in a ritual using Smarts -2 instead of Ritualism, but all casting modifiers are doubled!" So, I'd say the answer is yes... I don't see why anyone would choose to roll smarts at -2 and a doubled casting modifier if they actually had ritualism. Also, note Preston's answer above... he is one of the developers and writers of ETU and the Class Ring adventure, so he would know :)

@Thunderforge but I believe that with Rituals in ETU, you have the choice of using either Ritualism or Smarts -2 and a doubled casting modifier.

According to Clint, it is recommend that the leader and his assistants all go on the same card... accepting your answer. Thanks!

So, to further clarify you answer re: the cooperative rolls, @Preston... if, as you say, the assistants "assist" at the same time as the lead ritualist, do they NOT get any other actions? Or can they take their turn in initiative order and do something else? If so, would their actions be subject to the -2 penalty for multiple actions?

Make that 4-6 Freshman or Sophomores.

The book says it is for 4-6 Freshman or Juniors. Everybody in the group really loved the adventure and I found it a real pleasure to GM! Thanks to some fudging on my part, they finally banished Solas in the nick of time. Would have been easier if I'd read the part about making sure somebody had ritualism, but I just wanted to make sure I undersood the rules.
