@ladenedge I don't think it does, while it doesn't explicitly mention retries, the whole entry implies that you make one swim check per round, then choose how you move. Rewording "per move action or full-round action" to per round would certainly be clearer. Since the CRB states once per round, that's how I'll run it.

Yes, it makes sense to me that both characters and players should have time to reflect on what's happened, what they've enjoyed and have enough time to make an informed decision on what they want to improve, which feats to add, etc.

if the caster was a divine caster and they normally rememorized their spells at midnight, nice. I'm going to use this in an encounter that takes place around midnight.
