What are some alternatives to using miniatures for games that require them? Awesome. At first I thought he was using PhotoShop and I thought "great, so I only have to own a $500 program to make cheap tokens" but then I saw that it was a free program. Great find! |

What is the most effective healing class in D&D 4e? Between the wis to heals, pacifist feat and the healing domain's interaction with astral seal, cleric wins on all levels at least as far as pure healing goes. It's not just that clerics have the best mechanics, its that there is so much content for clerics that they have more feats, powers and PP then any of the other leaders (except maybe warlord). In D&D, more options almost always equates to more power. |

Beyond hit points: injury in D&D Yep, the hard part is keeping the flavor consistent. It's easy enough to say the ogre's heavy attacks are tiring a character out. It's harder to make that work with an acid attack or even a crossbow bolt. Plus, it's hard as a DM to narrate the first half of the battle as mostly bloodless. |
