comment Does a character with 10 Constitution only need to eat every 4 days?
Apparently, by the rules as written, yes, a dwarf with +4 CON only needs to eat once a week. I don't think anyone is claiming it makes real-world sense, only that it's what the rules say.

Attempting to spell out the final conclusion more clearly in order to satisfy activist moderators.

comment A fellow player does not want me to roleplay, what do I do?
Not a downvoter, but I read the other two answers as being in favor of clear communication rather than compromise for its own sake. If someone thinks you're communicating poorly, then finding a way to communicate more clearly is a better solution than digging in your heels and saying "Your character knows nothing about me, so I don't have to be clear about what I'm doing."

comment Why all the dice?
@DaveMG Yes, you can get arbitrary decimal precision by rolling enough d10s. That wasn't my point. This answer specifically states that 1% resolution is good enough for gaming, which is incorrect. Many games use dice conventions which cannot be represented accurately at a resolution of 1%.

1% resolution isn't always good enough for gaming - the chance of rolling 3 or 18 on 3d6 is slightly under half a percent. (1 in 216, to be exact.)

comment How can I make downtime interesting?
It doesn't even need to be bought/inherited. Given that the OP says these are epic-level characters, they're probably in a position to build their own castles/towers/businesses/whatever.

comment Is withdrawing from close combat a free action in SWD?
You're not really "using Defend 'early'". Savage Worlds allows you to take actions at any point in your turn, whether before, after, or in the middle of moving. Using Defend while moving is not a special case. (I can't find where this is stated directly in the rules, but the Multiple Actions section on SWD 66 uses the example of "a character might shoot a pistol, move a few inches, then issue a Taunt", making it clear that you can act both before and after moving.)

comment Running an RPG with fast Drop-In-Drop-Out capability for an open day
@Dave: If you leave out the XP mechanic (so that you only gain skills when all dice are natural sixes), it's still pretty quick and easy to get from 1 to 2, but going from 2 to 3 won't be that common and you're very unlikely to see anything higher than 3. Players who have been in the game for a while will be more diverse than a newcomer, but they generally won't have more raw mechanical power.
