I'm a web accessibility consultant and a GM. I play Dungeon World and Shadowrun and I'm really interested in FATE (but not my players).

comment How can I make Corporate SINner worth the karma as a GM?
I'm not remembering this correctly. They spent an edge on hiding their weapons. Completely unrelated sorry.

He didn't spend a lot of money on it. He has a legit Corp SIN and he got 2 Rating 5 Fake SINs. That's about as far as he goes for "spending money to avoid the consequences"

At least twice per session I get to test their fake SINs. Usually whenever they meet Mr. Johnson (checking in an hotel, rent a fake car etc.) On the first session of our new campaign they were busted but they asked if they could spend an edge on it. I allowed it.

Yes it does. Wired reflexes add to your Initiative. Notice it's not Matrix Initiative or Physical Initiative, it's "Initiative". Even astral initiative is enhanced by wired reflexes (but what mage in his right mind would do that?)

Your wired reflexes bonus still apply in VR. And yes deckers are "more in the middle" but it doesn't mean right next to the street sam in melee. I'd probably be in AR to brick weapons etc. but whenever you have to face a spider or hack through a host, you should get a safe spot and dive in VR.

A decker is not supposed to be in "the middle". He should be hiding and under the protection of a Sammy or at least a combat mage. When you replace your nerves by more efficient fiber optic it will enhanche your brain and reflexes. You think and act faster. It makes perfect sense.
