comment What do I need to change about Call of Cthulhu to set it in the 60s?
you might want to include some of Kim Newman's writings too

comment Do I need to play the original Call of Cthulhu before Achtung! Cthulhu?
Thanks for asking this question because without it I would never have been introduced to the joy of Achtung!Cthulhu. That said, it's worth specifying which of the base rules you are using. We can assume it's CoC from the tags but explicit is better than implicit.

comment Can a player controlled Dire Wolf carry another character?
IIRC there's a rule somewhere in 3.5 that mentions grappling something two sizes lower and being able to carry it. I personally wouldn't allow a large creature to carry a medium creature in it's mouth (i.e. grappled) but a large creature carrying a small creature would work.

comment Are there critical hits for spells?
I have never thought of this! It makes certain spells much more effective than I had previously thought.

comment D20 dresden style
Is the Dresden Files tag actually relevant to this question? The OP could be referring to the series as opposed to the game in which case the answer seems quite obvious to me

comment Can a sorcerer write their own spells into a wizard's spellbook in 3.5?
IIRC Sorcerers need to choose Read Magic as one of their spells, they don't get it for free - yet it has no use for them. Are you sure you're not conflating the two classes or misreading the rules?

comment What is the maximum altitude an Aerodyne can fly?
Technically speaking none of those bear a resemblance to the AV-4 as they are all either planes that look a bit like cars, or in the case of the X-Hawk, a helicopter that looks like a car. Where as the AV-4 is a jumpjet that looks a bit like a car.

comment Dealing with players of vastly different skill levels?
@ZacharyYates Regardless of the theme the entertainment of the players is still your responsibility. Character deaths are fine providing that they are meaningful. Everything is avoidable if you're flexible enough.

comment What race is most similar to a cat?
Does your daughter mean as a cat (small furry quadruped) or a cat-person (medium furry humanoid with ears and whiskers)? There's a huge difference!
