Welcome. Please check out our tour found here: rpg.stackexchange.com/tour, it will show you what a Stack Exchange site like this one is and is not equipped to do. This prompt would work great on a message board but that's not what we are. Feel free to edit your question when you've got more specific, targeted requirements, though. As it currently stands all it will field is aimless suggestions instead of constructive problem-solving.

comment Is it legal to “use” (reference) copyrighted material in a way that requires ownership of its original publication?
@KRyan not at the moment. Do they consider classes/mechanics to fall under copyright or trademark? Technically they're both a design and a literary work -- will come back to this when I've time next.

@KRyan On the trademark section, you're correct. It seems to me, then, that either one of two things occurs: The OGL has nothing to do with anything other than itself (which makes the question much less RPG-specific), or copyrighted material is handled as though it were Product Identity (and the OGL would still matter).

Copyright law is a tricky thing. A huge portion of my business law class was devoted to it. +1

comment Can Mass Lesser Vigor be persisted?
@Shf The feat extends the duration "to 24 hours," and in general in 3.5 specifics trump general statements. It's a property of the Persistent Spell feat that durations become 24 hours, and there aren't explicit exceptions made for spells with capped durations. Your GM, if they choose to disregard that, is in fact houseruling.
