Is the Dark Light ritual an invisibility cloak? @Ravn Imagine your party is sneaking up to a town under cover of darkness. You need a light source to see with, but a typical light source will give away your position. This ritual is the solution. |

Murder mystery and high fantasy magic - how to make it work? This is a good answer, but not to this question. |

Attack of Opportunity & spell casting You might want to tweak your wording -- you keep track of the number of AoO you've made since your last turn, not per round. For a new player this distinction is important to make. |

What are the best uses of a Factotum's Cunning Brilliance (Ex)? Oh, and oddly, the druid's Animal Companion ability is (Ex). Good luck explaining that one, though. |

What are the best uses of a Factotum's Cunning Brilliance (Ex)? The FAQ suggests that: "When in doubt, the DM should decide if an unmarked ability qualifies. Anything that lacks a clear, supernatural element should be fair play." I know you personally don't care for the FAQ, but it obviously will help convince some DMs, and is therefore worth mentioning. |

Creating undead as a good cleric in Dark Sun @BESW I think the rules question is related enough to the setting that they shouldn't be split. To know whether, mechanically, the elemental powers forbid casting [Evil] spells, you need to know whether they have an alignment etc. |

How do Racial Paragon Classes stack up against actual classes? I think the OP knows that these are inferior to regular classes, but wants an estimate of whether this will affect what CRs the party can take on. |

Creating undead as a good cleric in Dark Sun @ViktorSeifert The implication of the sourcebook is that clerics are not powered by the abstract concepts of their elements, but rather are given power by a variety of powerful elemental beings that inhabit those planes. However, unlike traditional clerics, they don't have relationships with specific beings or even know their names. Very key to the idea of the Dark Sun elemental cleric is that they make a Pact with these beings that they have to abide. You should hunt down the sourcebook if you want to know more. |

How much of a large's creature's space must be above a pit before they fall? In almost all cases, a creature does not actually take up the physical amount of space they get on the grid. It is just the area of the battlefield that they control and move around inside. Very few human beings are 5 feet wide, for instance. |

What is an “official” supplement in the context of D&D 3.5? Thanks to the link for the Living Greyhawk sourcebook. That actually makes it pretty clear that there is no canonical definition of "official" -- if there was, I'm sure it would have been referenced there! |

If an enemy moves and provokes an opportunity attack, where are they when the AoO happens? OA is the 4e abbreviation (oh the pedantry!) |

How much of a large's creature's space must be above a pit before they fall? Eh, the rules present two options: moving or squeezing. I don't see that they'd allow illegal squeezing any more than they'd allow invalid movement. Now lets take a moment to consider the phrase "illegal squeezing". >_> |

How much of a large's creature's space must be above a pit before they fall? A sufficiently large creature might not be able to squeeze. Does it then fall? |

What changes are there to Kingdom Management in Ultimate Campaign? Turns out there was one change that did matter for our group -- it's now possible to upgrade various terrain hexes to produce build points or reduce consumption. Since we were playing with an incredibly small town, and had basically 0 income from adventuring, being able to get extra build points will actually be kind of game changing, and address one major issue we had with the system. :) |
