Can a prone immobilized creature stand up? You know, that definition of move doesn't technically discount standing up as a type of movement. Given the wording, the conditions it lays out are sufficient, not necessary. I don't disagree with your conclusion, though. |

Is there a canonical definition for when Hermetic seasons start in Ars Magica? I've never played Ars, but from some quick googling actual Medieval magic texts seem to sync the seasons to the astrological signs of the zodiac, and thus the astronomical use. |

Why the bad guys don't just teleport somewhere drop a bomb and teleport back? @Byte56 It's even a specific category of weapon in the game FTL. |

May magic missile be energy substituted No, there's no general definition that I can find. It's at least clear that fire, lightning, sonic, acid, and cold are considered energy types -- there are many references to resistance to such energy types, and the rules for damage objects also refer to them as such. That's systematic enough that you can consider it part of the rules; it's not like trying to infer the meaning of a game term from a single feat, or something. |

May magic missile be energy substituted "I'd say the only reasonable interpretation is the one that it is referring to the descriptors corresponding to the energy types specified in the previous sentence." -- I'd partially disagree with that. Descriptor is a defined game term, and there are many places where sonic is referred to as a type of energy damage. However, force never is, so that's something of a moot point. |

Why the bad guys don't just teleport somewhere drop a bomb and teleport back? -1: I read the question as explicitly asking for an in-fiction justification; they already acknowledge the meta reasons of why not, and you spend most of the answer rehashing that ground. |

Is the blinding effect of Glitterdust effective on mindless undead? This SKR essay is a rant against the idea that undead somehow have different vision than regular monsters. |

What weapon has the highest base damage? @KRyan The question does ask about base damage, though. (I'm not sure why, but eh.) Though, there is an alternate class feature that lets a monk do double damage instead of flurrying. |

What weapon has the highest base damage? You need to specify if you mean on a normal attack, or if things like "only on a charge" or "only while power attacking" are ok. |

Touch Attack Spells vs Incorporeal Creatures @SouthpawHare I disagree -- once you cast the spell, the magic is invoked. Completing the attack is not part of the casting, but how it is discharged. I even imagine caster's hands charged with some sort of visible energy; it's that energy that has to make contact, not the caster's flesh. |

Can a demon lord read minds? Worth mentioning that in 3.5, all demons possess telepathy (so mind reading isn't much of a stretch), and that in 1e, demon lords would normally have quite a few psionic powers. Also in 3.5, succubi get detect thoughts, so that again emphasizes the seduction angle. |

Do the 3.5 books ask you to refer to 3.0 books? You should link to this official rule, since I've never been able to find it. (Probably search failure on my part, but it's really necessary for a complete answer.) |

How does two weapon fighting calculate the offhand attack? The numbers you give are including the adjustments from the TWF feat; you should mention that. |

Healing Kits in combat I don't think it deserves a whole separate answer, but here's a link to modern's Treat Injury skill. |

Encouraging players to play games they normally wouldn't? I don't think this really answers the question, since OP already indicates they want something rules light that doesn't require setting mastery. |

Game system recommendation - D20 system like DnD4E but faster level up rate Err, why not just level up 1 per session? That seems far easier than jumping to an entirely new system, and if there's a good reason that's not an option, explaining it will help guide us to give better answers to your question. |

How many natural weapon attacks would I get? I think you might be misreading Imp. Rapidstrike: "you can make two or more attacks with one of those weapons." The intent is a bit unclear, but seems to be that you make 4 additional attacks with a cumulative -5 penalty on each (though the cumulative part is only explicitly mentioned in the table?) |

How many natural weapon attacks would I get? Improved Rapidstrike doesn't place a restriction based on BAB. You can always get 4 extra attacks with it. |
