comment Does a creature take damage from Wall of Fire if it is moved before its turn?
@ErikBurigo Sorry, I misunderstood your comment. I thought your wizard was delaying to push/pull/slid an ally out of the spell's effect, instead of hitting villains.

@ErikBurigo great way to let someone spend his turn saving the ally instead of fighting.

comment How does dual-wielding work?
@Novian You'd need a prestige class (namely Tempest) to completely remove the penalties, plus a feat (oversized two weapon fighting) if using non-light weapons in your off hand.

comment Can you use Shrink Item on a living creature?
Once a friend of mine tried to pull off some wild trick involving persisting Shrink Item on his corpse while using a magic jar or asking someone to resurrect him.

Instead of Skype, my friends use google hangouts. There's even a roll20.com applet to incorporate a grid into the hangout.

comment A fantasy system with similar dicerolling and levels of success as World of Darkness
Just a clarification on Dogs. You have two ways to roll more die. One is called escalation and involves different actions. You could add dice by escalating a talk into a gunfight but also escalating a gunfight into a talk. The other is including objects and relationships in your descriptions. The two methods don't automatically raise the risk, but when your actions convince your cousin he could only get away with his idea by shooting you ...you'd better let him go or someone's gonna risk his life.

comment What indie systems present sufficiently interesting mechanics or settings to be recommended for an “Uncampaign”?
Keep in mind that Dogs really comes out after the first session, where the GM uses the actions taken by the players in the previous cities to press hard choices on the dogs.
