comment About Spell Scrolls' mechanic, how do they work?
Scrolls with more than one spell do exist in the random generation table. Thus the parchment should not vanish and could be reused. (Vanishes with the last spell is a more compliceted option. However, a piece of parchment costs close to nothing)

comment Any advice on how to politely approach a friend on problems with her character(s)?
I think you forgot one big reason for RPing the same character over and over. The game does not give me what I expect (let's say I play a D&D cleric and wish to fight enemies for my church and found a new sect, but I just keep fighting evil foes and no sect-building mechanism is in my game) but the game seems able to give me what I want. So, i RP that character hoping next time I'm gonna get what I want from the game. It's a matter of creative agenda and telling my expectations to the other players e.g. if I want to be the one who keeps the group togheter, the other players should know.

comment What “objects” can a spell target?
@Ananisapta a common house rule, usually invoked when dealing with large creatures, is that the secondary targets must be adjacent to the specific square of the creature or object that's been hit by the power.

comment How high can 'Black Tentacles' reach?
When you move upwards you still use squares to measure vertical distances. D&D's world is divided in cubes, like in a Tomb Raider game, and every cube has a 10' base, so it also has a 10' height. The area in one square --> the spells extends upward "in a similar fashion"

comment Can you create a skill bonus item to give a bonus to Concentration?
(Gloves are tied to somatic spellcasting because you gesture with your hands while weaving magic.)

A square is one square high (10 feet).

comment Does turn undead from different sources stack?
The RAW you quoted does not answer the question, except by deduction. I only see rules about the powerfullness of the checks. However, it looks like it's the closest thing I can get. Accepted.

comment How Different is Dogs in the Vineyard from more “Traditional” RPGs?
Not only the faith is what the players say it is. It's what the characters believe it is. If a Dog thinks a verse of the Book of Life means poligamy is OK and anotheer Dog thinks a different verse tells the opposite, let it be! The contents of the Book and the religious dogmas of the Faith are nondescript by choice. Think the Bible and the interpretations one could give to it!

comment Why do published adventures seem to have gone out of fashion, and who is still publishing 'adventures'?
I've heard of sandboxes and I'm not talking about what a GM could do with a book. I'm talking about what an adventure is supposed to be. If you don't use the content of the adventure and go for a sandbox, you're not using the adventure. I myself make use of published adventures and I'm in the middle of CotSQ as a DM, but I only manage to keep the players on track because they want to. If you could read Italian I'd point you to the source of this interpretation.

comment Does Quick Reconnoiter let me use Hear the Unseen as a free action?
@starwed you can now make listen checks as free actions, but to hear the unseen you need to use a move action nevertheless. The benefits of the feat follow from a successful listen check and spending a move action. Keep in mind that a listen check cuold have been a free action if it was a passive one (asked by the DM) even without the quick reconnoiter feat.
