Gauntlet that provides benefits of Monkey Grip? Monkey Grip is strictly worse than power attack in two (maybe more) very specific instances. 1) You already have power attack and want even more oomph 2) You need a big adamantine weapon to resist sunder attacks. In both cases the gauntlets are still better, provided you have a free item slot. |

Does a natural 20 initiative roll have any special rules? Actually, saving throws use natural 20s and natural 1s just as attack rolls do, in D&D 3.5 at least. |

Being a good secret keeper: protection against mind manipulation I'm not worried about deities nor about anything that could as well target the one who told my character things. I'm more worried of "you, you betrayed me" events. AMF also usually hampers their divinations. Dead magic could be circumvented by a shoadowwave user. So I'm looking for Su or possibly Ex. Dweomerkeeper is banned from my game :) |

What is role-playing, and where do I start? The idea is great, the GNS division could confuse a newcomer but your page provides a good link to a really clear, non-confusing article. The only thing I want to be sure is not lost in that big wordy page is that rules aren't G/N/S but they can help a G/N/S agenda emerge |

What happens to equipment and armour when you shapeshift? I'm not sure about the 3.5 bit. AFAIK, you don't get bonuses from items at all while polymorphed and shpeshift should be no exception. That looks like a class feature of the shapeshifter class to me. |
