As a GM, what minimal geographic knowledge should I have to make realistic maps? @Vorac The Earth is big;) You can easily find a region with no roads. As for names, there is plenty of sites without them, e.g. www.shaded-relief.com. Though I think it's be more atmospheric to copy (outline) a map, not to use as is. |

As a GM, what minimal geographic knowledge should I have to make realistic maps? If you need a realistic map, you needn't draw it, you can take some from the real world. For example, Google Maps has a great Terrain mode: goo.gl/maps/jqyy9. |
