How deadly are extras in Exalted 2nd ed.? Eh. Unless you're using Elemental Burst attack or similar charm, you're probably not talking out more than one extra in an action since you can't normally attack more than one target at a time. |

Could Virtues and Vices break my WoD game? All of these points are good, but especially the last one. I'm not sure if this is the core or if it's just something that came about in gaming circle, but when players are making characters, we always talk about Virtue and Vice as "what my character is like at her best/what my character is like at her worst." These are meant to be tools for rewarding in character action, rather than effective playing. And in a WoD campaign, you'd be surprised how HARD it can be to satisfy virtues, sometimes. |

How deadly are extras in Exalted 2nd ed.? Oh, and at character creation, as a DB, make sure that you have at least one excellency to increase your attack rolls and one to increase your DV, unless your concept is supposed to be NOTABLY lacking in combat ability. Your blood is the blood of the Army of Creation! Your forefathers threw down the anathema! Embrace your legacy! |

Is there an endless RPG system? It should be added that 4e brought back an ultimate level cap, along with the built in notion that characters become something /else/ with their epic destiny, because of the realization that no system can support games going on for 20 years without making the first two or three boring and dangerous. +1 for pointing out the problems with games that go on and on. |

How do I politely decline to hear a gaming story? @Sardathrion -- Yeah, I suppose it's not totally fair to be looking for a magic bullet specifically for this situation on this topic. Which reminds me, this one time my bard was... |
