comment Does “I'll Sleep When I'm Dead” or “Resolute” allow you to ignore stress and fatigue in Story Mode?
So, basically, Story Mode still has turns but they have very elastic length. That makes sense.

comment As a DM can you have multiple encounters without allowing the players to take a short rest?
Point 2 is the important bit - if you don't have a short rest, the encounter hasn't really ended yet.

comment Are there any official Transformers themed (or close approximation) RPGs?
Unfortunately I haven't done this. I've only played and run for Solars and Dragon-blooded. Rules-wise there isn't much to be done - just some custom charms (rpdom.com/threads/… have a start). It's the setting details that are going to get difficult.

@javafueled not quite. It would be similar if Dodging and Parrying are the default and the rules don't define what the penalty of not being able to do them was.

My GM for this game doesn't do mechanical pacing, or encounters for anything other than combat. We also clear our stress and fatigue tokens when we sleep (but I'm not sure about the mechanical justification for that anymore either). The exploit isn't something I'm concerned about for our game. It looks unbalanced (why wouldn't you buy these talents if you were intent on using Reckless stance) and that probably means something prevents you from using it. What that something is just isn't clear.
