It's keeping track of "how many times you took damage" vs "how many times you were first aided".

@Ravn Not really. It's not that previous damage can't be healed by the new test - just that you can only treat each injury once. You can't spend three turns healing the same sword wound without undoing the work you did before. If you'd taken 8 damage from the pistol and 2 from the sword and were healed 4 each time, you'd be left on 2 damage - and have two sets of bandages.

comment How can I give strong weapons to enemies without the players looting them?
Gene-locks are available in the 40k universe - Abnett mentions them a few times in his books, for a start. However, they're usually archeotech/very complex and they're not something you'd casually use. There's no factory that produces gene-locked guns, but a Mechanicus master artificer probably could make you one/bypass an existing lock.

@Golokopitenko Rogue Traders can generally (Warrant terms dependent) get away with having any hardware they like, as long as it's not too blatantly heretical and they don't flaunt it in the Imperium. Remember that they're not entirely above Imperial Law when they're in Imperial space - the Inquisition can sanction them when they're in the Imperium (go on, try and take your friendly Ork onto an Imperial world...).

You could do worse than talking to Eddy Webb, who's been writing & developing World of Darkness books for a long time and has a good online presence. eddyfate.com

To be fair, Apocalypse has Spirals as an important facet of the big bad...

comment Preventing servitor spamming?
Also, if you have recurring characters who the party have rivalries with, and they're constantly being beaten down by the servitor minions, they're going to go out and get their own minion armies - or other ways to nullify theirs. Inferno Pistol - 2d10+8 points of "was that a servitor or a molten pile of slag?" You have twenty servitors? I have a Space Marine. It's up to your play style, and what your players want You need to work with what they want to do while maintaining your own vision of how things should work. Rogue Trader is the game of quality over quantity - remind people of that.

The point is less to focus on countering them, but being aware that you can. Be that with enemy minions at CatLord suggests, or by having their minions be taken out of play somehow. The first point should always be to talk to the players - maybe they don't want an army of servitors. Or if the Explorator does, then maybe the rest of the party doesn't.

comment How many “pets” can an Explorator have at the same time?
One half-action to Command up to your Command limit in followers. I think (top of head), it's Fellowship bonus for the number of people you can Command. There's a talent (name escapes me) that boosts the number of people you can Command with a single action to 10 + Fellowship bonus (I think). But even with that, you're giving a single command to multiple people. "You two attack him, and you two attack her" is two separate commands, and thus two separate actions.

I don't recall any such rule. Common decency? Repair costs? There are limits on how many people/servitors you can command at once (see the Command skill), and you need to give separate commands to each group. So if you've managing squads of servitors in a fashion that isn't just "kill everyone except your designated safe targets", you can only order around two squads a round at best - and then you're not participating yourself.

comment Are clauses in Changeling contracts cumulative?
They also fixed the merits when they released MET, and I believe there's an official errata to this effect as well. Graduated Merits (i.e. 1 to 5) have to be purchased for each level you have. Simple Merits (i.e. 2 or 4) you only need to purchase the level you possess.

Common Sense is a character creation-only merit. You can't use XP to buy it.
