comment Does Pathfinder significantly fix known problems with the Monk class?
-1 for tired Pathfinder balance rant, playtest whine, and overall soapboxing in the second half of your answer. Poor quality and bad form.

comment What content can I reproduce from Pathfinder
@KRyan While I understand the sentiment, d20PFSRD is bound by the OGL. It is completely within the spirit of the OGL to copy and improve previous works, as long as your sources are cited and you don't reproduce any designated Product Identity.

comment What is the cost for the upkeep of gear?
While I agree with the first part, the second part is way off. Low wealth may work very poorly the way that your group plays 3.5, but the system does fine with low wealth/low magic without major (or any) changes. Needing magic to solve problems is a group issue, not a system issue.

comment What role-playing games have good gamemaster advice sections?
Agreed. Spirit of the Century pretty much changed how I look at RPGs, both as a GM and as a player. And I don't even play it!

comment The 5-Foot Step and Acrobatic Strike
You're correct about Tumble not requiring a move action (even though it implies it under the Action section of the skill), however I stand by my answer that you cannot Tumble as part of a 5 foot step. I updated my answer to point out that Tumbling requires "normal movement", which the 5 foot step is not.

comment Reasons to multiclass in 3.5
Fair enough - though "didn't fix 3.5 balance problems" and "Pathfinder is not especially different from 3.5 in almost all respects" are wildly different claims. The first I would at least mostly agree with you, but the second claim is completely inaccurate.

comment Reasons to multiclass in 3.5
@KRyan Every time you say that, I can't tell if it's because you've only perused through the core rulebook and never actually played it, because the issues you really wanted to be fixed weren't addressed so you just write the whole thing off, or if you just want to talk smack about Pathfinder because of previously voiced issues about their playtest. The changes in Pathfinder are significant, but didn't touch much of the core mechanics - about what I'd expect from a good transition to a new edition of a game - things are different without making you feel like you're playing a different game.

comment Reasons to multiclass in 3.5
I can't think of a single Pathfinder class that's late levels aren't attractive enough to in most cases dissuade a player from both multiclass dips and from even taking prestige classes. Granted I am not an optimizer, nor did I ever really care for multiclass dips in 3.5 either. I also almost never play spellcasters. I think the main reason a Fighter dip is less attractive is because everyone gets more feats already. I find feats in Pathfinder to largely be better than 3.5E, though probably less exploitable (again, not an optimizer).
