I'm an electrical engineering student with a computer science minor at the City College of New York. I do programming work for the Metropolitan Transit Authority, and do a fair amount of hobby-coding for web sites and computer game modifications.

comment What happens to a wizard who loses his/her memory?
@Yandros To be honest, I’m not familiar with any such cases. I’d guess that partial retrograde procedural amnesia is definitely possible... though for it to only hit class abilities is still a stretch. As for the ability gains, I feel like only Strength and Constitution would, since Dexterity is largely coordination and “muscle memory” is still stored in your brain, and the others are literally parts of your brain, mental training or what have you.

comment What effects do critical and fumble tables have on D&D 3.5?
@sadaqah That’s true, I do not really discuss the significance of the NPCs fumbling or the PCs critting – that’s just because, per my first point, those things are just less significant (because they are much more likely to happen to a random mook than to someone significant).

No, I simply think that critical and fumble tables are bad for every (serious and/or long-running) game ever played no matter your preferences or playstyle. Your claim that they improve the game for anyone is inaccurate.

@JoshuaAslanSmith I think this is a valid question – we have metas that establish that asking for homebrew and houserule suggestions is valid – though I suspect that it’s unlikely that anyone will be able to provide a valid answer to it (since the system is so new and I doubt anyone’s already managed to develop and extensively use such a system).

comment Is it possible? Arcane Archer at lvl 5?
I think the questions I'd like clarified on this answer are: 1) Is the question “What tricks can be abused to do this?” or is the question “Is it OK to houserule and let him do this?” 2) What about arcane archer interests the player? and 3) What, exactly, is the houseruling about multiclassing that’s going on? (DMs don’t typically “allow” multiclassing, or particular multiclass arrangements; it’s just a default option available to players)

comment Eberron-like world for Pathfinder?
@MrLemon Hero Points are far more potent than Action Points, and it’s important to the functioning of some Eberron feats that Action Points be an *X*/level thing, rather than gaining a variable number of them from DM rewards. Hero Points (from a brief skim) certainly seem thematically appropriate to an Eberron game, but they would be in addition to, rather than a replacement of, Action Points.

@doppelgreener Conversion stuffs covered, but bleh, you’re right – silly, considering that I was literally looking for that when I found that site. I've found a different one that I like rather well.
