comment What are the ramifications of waiving the Evil requirement for the assassin class?
Nitpick(?): The article you link to states "... befitting the spirit of April Fool's Day ...", so the avenger class was not actually posted as an Aprils Fools Day Joke (as these typically don't include disclaimers, right?), but was apparently deemed mildly absurd by the author(?).

comment Can a Night Elf swim naked in a volcano?
@Thales - I have clarified that this isn't official. But the pathfinder text is just a copy of the D&D text, so ... see edit. :-) I stand by that.

As reference I'd add that this is (also) listen in PHB p 289 - although your q isn't answered there.

comment A story-focused, rules-lite, fantasy-friendly, classless RPG?
Hmmm ... from the looks of it, this doesn't match the definition of high fantasy in my book.

+1 for If they do not investigate and stop [it], then there is a consequence and you should play it out ...

comment How do I help my players not get caught up on smaller plot points?
+1 for allowing the players to do what they want seems to lead to them doing what they don't want to do :-)

comment 3d6 vs a d20: What is the effect of a different probability curve?
Hmmm ... if it's only to get a different distribution, it might be easier rule-wise to just use 2d6+1d8 (that 20, right?) Would also make an interesting distribution! :-)
