I like to visit fictional places with my friends and lift heavy things above my head.

How should I respond to a DM who unfairly plays the “rules-lawyer” card? I have real trouble with the idea that it is the DM's job to make sure everyone has fun. It is everyone's job to make sure the table is fun. The player above contributed by writing up a character history, making a character, purchasing a DM's screen and double-checking the rules. Fun isn't the DM's job, fun is everyone's job, even if the way different roles contribute to the fun is different. |

Where do I get the archive of the Sons of Kryos podcast episodes? I don't have an answer but I have a promise. I'm trying to track down my copies of the episodes and once I do I will put them up in a dropbox folder for folks to peruse and will put them back up on a site. Thank you for your continued interest in this show. |

What changed in Burning Wheel between Gold and Revised editions? I noticed that help dice can be given for Circles tests. There are little tweaks to the lifepaths, not to mention the lifepaths' lay-out is cleaner. I'm reading it cover to cover now and finding little differences: the inclusion of books as learning tools...lots of little things. |

Explain How History Works in Apocalypse World I look at it as the game encouraging the characters to either Love and Hate each other. Love and Hate make us better people. Apathy gives us nothing in AW. Not sure if that helps with anyone's thoughts on realism and Hx. |

Any news regarding Planescape? Wasn't Sigil written about in one of the 4e sourcebooks? |

What are the origins of the Raven Queen? I don't see fluff as a negative word. I see it as fiction bits that don't have mechanical weight in play. |

In Dictionary of Mu, does the end of an epoch mean game over? No. Let that game end. Let the new epoch be defined by the NEXT kickers that the players will write after their former kickers are resolved. You, the GM, do not define the new epoch. |

In Dictionary of Mu, does the end of an epoch mean game over? Epochs can absolutely be good things. Here's what I am saying. I am not saying the GM should decide what the next epoch means. I am saying you end the game with the player having taken over Black Rock and killed Nimrote. The GM does not then do something catastrophic in order to end the epoch unless it comes organically out of play. You end the session, do advancement and base the next epochal changes to Marr'd based on the players next kicker. Does that make sense? |
