I like to visit fictional places with my friends and lift heavy things above my head.

How do you make Dwarves Religious in a custom Fantasy setting? I wasn't on the offense. I said I found it troubling. I didn't attack anyone or call names or spit or cuss or insult anyone. I just said I was troubled. I adore Tolkien-inspired dwarves. I adore Jews. I find parallels troubling. |

How do you make Dwarves Religious in a custom Fantasy setting? It is troubling because some aspects of dwarves (their beards and greed come immediately to mind) are present in terrible caricatures of Jews. As a big Jew who is often told he doesn't seem Jewish (by other Jews no less) I'll stick by the word - troubling. |

How do you make Dwarves Religious in a custom Fantasy setting? But the idea that they borrow heavily from Jewish tradition is troubling. I don't see a clear Jewish link in modern fantasy nor myth concerning dwarves. |

How do you make Dwarves Religious in a custom Fantasy setting? I agree that there's fertile ground for taking real world religions all over the place, in all religions. |

What are the origins of the Raven Queen? I do disagree. She is a new addition to the D&D mythology, along with Githyanki, beholders, Pelor and Vecna. They are all D&D fluff or color, as in bits of the setting that are not mechanical in nature. Other 4e fluff bits: The Primordials, the Shadowfell, etc. |

How vested should every player be in the Burning Wheel's rule system? My experiences mirror those of SevenSidedDie. |

How do you seamlessly blend inspiration into a campaign? Some day I'll live that down. |

Tips for running a mystery in Burning Wheel You can start with a mystery in BW but when the players have the answer the adventure isn't over, it has just begun. They have to have information at that point that will inspire their characters to action. I would likely even have them re-write their beliefs at that point. |
