I like to visit fictional places with my friends and lift heavy things above my head.

comment What are the origins of the Raven Queen?
I was looking for D&D references. I wasn't aware there was a real-world mythological figure known as the Raven Queen.

comment Where would Teleportation Circles be in Forgotten Realms?
Yeah, in the Realms game we are playing the portals are scattered hither and yon, put in place through lost logic that time and fallen empires have rendered cryptic.

comment In Dictionary of Mu, does the end of an epoch mean game over?
No. Let that game end. Let the new epoch be defined by the NEXT kickers that the players will write after their former kickers are resolved. You, the GM, do not define the new epoch.

Epochs can absolutely be good things. Here's what I am saying. I am not saying the GM should decide what the next epoch means. I am saying you end the game with the player having taken over Black Rock and killed Nimrote. The GM does not then do something catastrophic in order to end the epoch unless it comes organically out of play. You end the session, do advancement and base the next epochal changes to Marr'd based on the players next kicker. Does that make sense?
