I write computer software for a living, mostly in Perl. I give away lots of it. Share and enjoy!
In my spare time, I tell my daughter stories about Batman, read books, watch movies, play video games, and try desperately to play D&D even though nobody I know wants to.

Is anyone playing Mazes & Minotaurs? I just thought I'd note that yes, it is played. I've been running an M&M game for just over a year now. It didn't seem to warrant an answer. |

What systems, if any, could emulate an MMORPG or CRPG? @p.marino Thanks! I started flipping through it last night and will get back to it tomorrow after my Mazes & Minotaurs game.. :-) |

What systems, if any, could emulate an MMORPG or CRPG? Well, it's not clear whether it answers this one, because it doesn't address the bullet points, but the broad strokes sound like it might fit. I'll be reviewing the game before voting. |

What systems, if any, could emulate an MMORPG or CRPG? I actually run a 4E game. :) I meant to specifically exclude 4E, as I did when I tweeted about this question, but I forgot. Oops! My primary objection is that 4E is, in my opinion, far too complex (too many enumerated options per unit per round), and combats rounds take much too long. I also don't think the difference in power level between levels 1 and 30 is great enough for what I was hoping for. Also, I was hoping to avoid any bad feelings from such comparisons. :-) Still, your answer fits my question! Thanks. |

What systems, if any, could emulate an MMORPG or CRPG? I have made this a distinct question because I believe the specifics of the system I am seeking are substantially different than those for which the other question was looking. |

How can I improve one-off play with paragon or epic tier characters? I created the characters in question. Although it would be nice to have the players do it on their own, creating high-level 4E characters takes an age. :( |

GMing an unorthodox setting the players know NOTHING about I agree with @SevenSidedDie and believe this question is too hypothetical. |
