@RobertF - Try fighting a hundred opponents at once and you'll notice a massive difference between 96.4% and 99.98%.

@RobertF - That's not how 3d6 works--you gradually get better at first, then accelerate away increasingly fast. d20 accelerates away also, but not as fast. Exploding d20s would be even slower (especially if they exploded on 18 or so).

comment Magical machines in the Shadowrun canon?
They're a fusion, but they end up kind of anti-magical, so I'm not sure this counts. It's almost like you take away even more magic than normal in order to get cyberzombies.
