Creating (Aspect) Advantages in Conflicts @wraith I guess you take every word in there very seriously, so I'll fix it for you so that it doesn't sound so strict. |

The mechanics of Aspects on weapons/armor? No, they are subject to the same rules as any other aspect. Use fate points to compel or invoke, unless you just created them, in which case, you can invoke once for free but compels always need a fate point |

Creating (Aspect) Advantages in Conflicts Technically, you can invoke it to give your defense a +2, which is practically the same result. |

Creating (Aspect) Advantages in Conflicts One good thing about Fate and friends is that nothing is a hard and fast rule. It is meant to be tweaked, so I say why not… |

Creating (Aspect) Advantages in Conflicts Yes but it's practically pointless to use a fate point or a free invoke before you know you'd need it, right? BTW, compels are a bit different. They don't modify your action. They say it never takes place, and something (or nothing) else happens instead. |

Looking for solo (one person) RPGs - do they exist? cRPG's are already out-of-topic here, no need to cause confusion |

Enabling PC-driven Climate Change: is there a rules system to deal with PC created changes to the environment? @Seven, that is definitely a gray area. How specific can you get with an ice age? I just happened to play a game last weekend, where the said "ice age" was an element in the generic grand action mechanism. Would it count if it was about "global warming" instead? Would you consider it related if it happened to be about "unusual tectonic activity" ? Where do you draw the line? |
