How to deal with players who like to use the local authorities to solve their problems We had someone like this in one of our story lines before. The GM took the simple solution of making the character a known criminal by setting him up for something he didn't do but couldn't easily clear his name. That took away the obvious choice of turning to the authorities and had the bonus of creating a villain for that character to want to seek vengeance on and clear his name. |
