I'm mostly on RPG.stackexchange.com, but also check Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Stackoverflow. I'm currently GMing and/or playing OD&D, AD&D 2e and Stars Without Number campaigns. I use C# (in Unity3d) and Python when writing code.

comment Can a cleric choose to channel damage or healing in a case by case basis?
+1 It's also worth noting that the Good cleric can't choose between damaging undead and healing living creatures - the effect simply depends on whether a living or undead creature is targeted.

comment Are there melee builds that can keep up with well-played tier 1 casters?
Since in 3.x, magic equates to power, I'd be inclined to say no. Anyway, since the tiers are based on the idea of competent optimisation, any melee class that can match a tier 1 class would be in tier 1 already, I think. I'd really like for someone more competent in optimisation to prove me wrong, however!

Not all murder is evil in D&D - killing whole hordes of sentient beings with human or near-human intelligence is often the norm for Lawful Good adventurers.

comment Can you use Spring Attack while flying instead of taking Flyby Attack?
@KRyan I see what the matter is - the question does not explicitly state what OP wants Flyby attack for. I interpreted it as using one feat to essentially get another's effect, while you interpreted it as whether Spring Attack could be used in the air.

@KRyan Do you disagree that the two feats are different? or that you must take each individually? Because otherwise, I can't see why you think it wrong.
