I'm a hobby programmer, who has experience in a whole range of languages, but mainly I work in C++, but has recently taken to using C#. I mostly delve into hacking and reverse engineering. Lately, I've begun looking into hobby electronics and robotics in my spare time.

comment How to motivate players without the promise of gold and XP?
Have the farmer commit suicide over the loss. You now have two violent deaths, which makes for some vengeful ghosts to attack your players. ;)

comment Can the Pixie's Teleport Trick make you invincible?
Not to mention, it's a daily. Would be a very short case of invincibility even if it worked.

comment How do I help my players get past an obstacle I didn't intend?
I really like this idea. It'll fix the problem along with taking away their reward for not actually solving the puzzle correctly. And it'll make them think twice before going on a wishing frenzy next time.

comment 3D Rules for a 2D Game
@Zach, I think you need to extend on your question then. The site is Q&A, we need specific questions for specific answers. We can't give you an covers-all-stuff solution. And taking flight as an example, so far, it looks like flight is covered as a case by case in the rules. Like the Fly spell and Fly skill. The carrying capacity rules don't mention exceptions for flight, and the Fly spell or Fly skill doesn't mention specific rules for altered carrying capacity. And since the rules doesn't mention anything, why do you think there are differences in carrying capacity?

comment 'From the class skills list below, choose four more trained skills at'
This has bothered me as well. I know they start out with Stealth and Thievery trained, so it's confusing that they also add it to the list to choose from.

@Sardathrion, Tags and wiki sounds like an interesting idea. I added the link, though I can't guarantee it'll keep working.

comment Software to keep track of mapnotes
@Sardathrion, I already have the map as a png image. I added that information to the post. GIMP is great for graphical modifications, but adding notes would be a bit cumbersome.
