Melee Combat in Moldvay's D&D Basic Can someone help me out on this? If A wants to attack B, but in doing so moves A close to C, is there a rule that states A HAS to attack C instead of B? I would think that, as a player, I could attack anyone I wanted to, no matter where I stood (granted, I may not succeed). Or have the rules changes so much since I last played "the Red Box"? |

Can I wish for an extra pair of arms (without breaking Wish)? While having the arms to dual wield two-handed weapons sounds cool, check out "Schlock Mercenary" and "Girl Genius", two web comics with characters with 2 or more arms. In the first, the character has 4 hands, but only 2 eyes, so he can only focus on one target at a time. In "Girl Genius", the four armed character has to put up with a lot of harrassment from some of the other characters. So would having more arms than you are used to cause a loss of DEX? Or CHA? |
