How do I model sinkholes collapsing under the PCs? Have you considered making it a balance check? While it is possibly one of the most useless skills (in my opinion), it seems to suit your situation quite well. |

Does a natural 20 initiative roll have any special rules? I'm not sure whether this is a rule, or just how I've played (thus not an answer), but I treat it as an automatic first in the order UNLESS someone else gets a natural 20 AND has a higher initiative bonus. |

Why does everyone carry a 10' pole? I've ruled that the rules actually were supposed to be 2 silver for the pole and 5 silver for the ladder, and this is how I would play if my PCs ever bought either of them. |

How to fix sorcerors getting shafted by spell point variants? Did you take into account when calculating this that the normal rules have you casting at your fullest caster level allowed by the spell? This might change this significantly. This might fall short, though, when you consider the difference between a damage-dealing spell and a static cost spell. |
