Where do the standard racial tropes for Dwarves come from? Tolkien's dwarves are actually based on Medieval Jews, and based much of their story on the return to Israel. This reflects both positively (good craftsmen), negatively (separate from the rest of the world, love of money) and neutrally (language, appearance). |

Team cleric, team warrior, team mage I could see a team of mage duelists, perhaps using modified sets of magic dueling rules from PHB2. I could even begin to see tactics forming- two counter mages, one damage mage, and one summon mage (for distractions). |
