I've been roleplaying since I got a copy of the Blue Holmes box back when I was ten or so, and haven't really stopped since. I've covered a good number of games over the years, but these days I've been really enjoying D&D, FATE, Savage Worlds, and Buffy.

What can I use in place of Fudge Dice? Adam Dray's idea of using a large die and a small die is pretty good! That also reminds me of those 'die inside a die' contraptions, which would not only provide the same service, but make sure that the two dice end up near each other. |

How many gems will fit in a bag? I like this answer. It's nonspecific and yet very useful. Plus, it's easy to remember. |

How to turn an AD&D thief into a con-man? Having played an AD&D game involving conmen and roleplaying that went quite well, I totally agree with the good Doctor's post. |

Anyone have write-ups (or alternatives) for “missing” skills in D&D 4E? Thing is, if my character's background is in shoe-making, how is that at all ever going to be helpful to my character? |

What can I use in place of Fudge Dice? Ha! You get the 'answer' for nice formatting and pictures, and for covering a wide range of possibilities. Good job! |
