comment Differences between D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder
@MatteoTassinari It's just you, IMO. half elf has a few tricks they can do (Paragon Surge until your DM bans it), but bonus feat is hard to compete with. The ACF to get 3 skill focus feats or a second +2 is pretty hardcore

@RobertF Probably because the core races that get penalties to strength are all small. Plus, strength penalties make for fairly bad warriors of any type: even archers. Additionally, D&D hasn't been LotR: The RPG for a few decades now and Pathfinder has it's own, anime influenced, world and design. So dragging Tolkien into it makes as much sense as pulling soccer rules into a discussion on football.

comment Best Healing Potion Possible
@KRyan "Magic Items and Metamagic Spells: With the right item creation feat, you can store a metamagic version of a spell in a scroll, potion, or wand. Level limits for potions and wands apply to the spell's higher spell level (after the application of the metamagic feat). A character doesn't need the metamagic feat to activate an item storing a metamagic version of a spell." - d20pfsrd.com/feats/metamagic-feats

@zach I would think that's obvious. One of the things that ruined 3.0/3.5 were the stupid way splat books interacted with each other. I banned non-core classes from my 3.5 campaigns long ago.

comment How can I pass through a Blade Barrier?
Iron bathtub - Approx. 1/2" thick? Hardness 10, Hp 15. So It should provide protection until the blade barrier rips through it
