Playing two separate Pathfinder one-on-one campaigns with a friend. One where he's the GM and one where I'm the GM. We used to run a shared campaign with random generation to keep both of us on our toes.

I'm also interested in various other games such as Mutants & Masterminds 3e, Fate Core, Swashbucklers of the Seven Skies and Spirit of the Century.

I sometimes use Mythic, the GM emulator, for solitaire play.

comment Can Bards attack while Performing?
That last idea rocks! I'd even add a variant where the flute floats on its own, allowing the bard to keep playing while doing other things... or simply plays itself through magic will while "dancing" around the bard.

comment Can I use touch creature spells on myself?
@HeyICanChan: I actually meant about "creature" being equal to PC. But nevermind, found it and made it an answer.

While I totally agree, I tried finding an official source stating this... and have failed so far. Would be a great thing to add if you know one.

comment New players missing the big picture?
Remember the rule of three for hints: if you want your players to find out about something, leave at least three references to it in the game. This improves chances that they'll at least catch on one and all the hints reinforce each other.

comment How does one work a druid into a campaign?
I'd also suggest working with your players prior to the campaign to ensure their background, personality and motivations will fit the campaign as a whole. Try to spot future headaches right away: an urban campaign and a non-urban druid who hates civilization is going to be tough (not impossible) to justify. Some of it can be fixed, some of it just won't work. If a character just won't work in your campaign, no matter how you spin it, don't force it. Better say no to the character now than after multiple sessions.

comment Mutants and Masterminds manifesting dual personalities
"Concentrate" being mentioned seems to imply it's definitely not 3rd indeed.

comment personality traits for a character
I'd suggest a simple Google search on "personality traits list". The first two hits already give quite a lot to play with.

comment What equipment should a character start with?
@mxyzplk: I'd say it's more of a "torch, lantern, sunrod? oh wait, lanterns need oil too, I missed that!" It's not always easy to know what a game system requires or implies as a freebie, or simply realizing what's available for a given need. Having to read through the whole list of equipment just to start up shouldn't be an absolute requirement.

Are prices/weights useful enough that I should complete the list? Also wondering if I should somehow note which items have strict mechanical effects, those that may (rations?) and those that are pure fluff most of the time.
