Dungeons and Dragons (3.5e) geek, currently playing a LG Chaos Dragon (8 HD, 4 LE) in a long term campaign. The character started out as a Fang Dragon but got reincarnated as a Chaos Dragon after an untimely demise...

comment Optimizing a grappler druid build
An earlier concept of mine had taken WS to 5 to capitalize on being able to change shape every round (if need be) to get the most useful EX ability for that round (by not being limited by the number of WS/day). For instance, did my char just take a massive hit and is near death? Shape to a troll to get regeneration.

The reason why I went with MoMF is to have as many options as possible as I do not know what sort of creatures we will encounter during the adventure (specifically (ab)using their EX abilities such as regenerate). The NW levels are there for the BAB and serpent's embrace (constrict).

A small bit of editing to accentuate and 'narrow' the possible answers.

comment Does having improved grab allow a character to deal unarmed strike + natural attack damage?
I don't think that it does personally, it's always good to have that validated however.

This answer may certainly be useful to some. However, my specific question was referring to the regular option (so not taking the -20).

comment Are Secondary Natural Attacks needed to take advantage of Multiattack?
I never realized how vastly different PF and 3.5 were in regards to what constitutes a secondary/primary natural attack. The result is that multiattack is a lot less powerful for PF than it was for 3.5 I guess.

I don't see how the part that you quoted is related to the question. The section that you refer to is an option that a character/creature with that ability can use to not be 'considered' grappling, by only using part of it's body. Additionally, that sub section ends at the sentence A successful hold....

Edited title to reflect that improved grapple is not really part of the question (in hindsight)

I was going to suggest Purple Dragon Knight from the Dragonlance campaign setting. However, you already found that one it seems ^_^

comment Is Dungeons & Dragons the origin of “Bahamut” as a dragon?
@KRyan I think that you could add an almost identical question about the origin of Tiamat (Takhisis), who in the Sumerian/Babylonian mythology is more of a lion/eagle hybrid while from AD&D (at least) onwards she appears like the current 5 headed dominatrix.

I can see why people might think that, given how some completely new segments randomly appear in those columns.
