comment Is there any point in learning Mage Armor for my Sorcerer if he's Dragonborn?
Shield is definitely a staple for sorcerers/wizards. It has some drawbacks (eats spell slots, burns your reaction), but it is still well worth having.

Also worth noting: Things that actually provide +X AC do stack, e.g. shields, the Shield spell, and Defensive Fighting Styles.

Contrast with: Does the Sorcerer Feature Draconic Resilience Work with Shields?

comment Does natural armor stack with unarmored defense?
@Dyndrilliac If beast-form ACs are calculated (and not set), and if Natural Armor is a bonus to AC (i.e. "Natural Armor: this bear gets +1 AC"), then this Tweet doesn't matter (as spelled out in the Caveat Emptor section of my answer above).

@Dyndrilliac You're confusing "armor calculation" and "armor class." Abilities can add to AC without being part of the armor calculation... A magic item that grants +1 AC for example would stack with either animal-form AC or Unarmored Defense.

@Dyndrilliac That doesn't really answer the question of whether Natural Armor is part of the armor calculation (like unarmored defense), or functions as a bonus like a shield. See the Caveat Emptor section.

DM-fiat and Word of God could apply, of course, but I grow weary of including that particular incantation in answers :-P

@doppelgreener Reactions in this system just kind of happen. Rules for not doing other things when you cast a spell only kick in on the longer spells, and even then the rules only tie up your action. You're free to use your movement, reaction, and bonus action for other things even while casting a 12-hour casting time spell.

@SevenSidedDie This is a good system, as far as house rules go. But there is some fiddliness: you have to remember not to return the stone at the end of the round the action was readied, while still making sure to catch any pending readied actions up at the end of the next round.
