Is it fair to make all Encounter/Daily powers Reliable in D&D 4e? I also had a similar discussion with a friend with the same reasoning as you stated. Another one that works for "why do encounters only work once per fight?" is that people tend to think their enemy is stupid. Quite the contrary, I'd say your enemies are smart enough to know when you're pulling a fancy move and won't open up for such a devastating attack again that fight. Hence, one per fight but works for other fights cause the new foe hasn't seen your technique yet. The reasoning doesn't quite work for dailies but you can use the reasoning you mentioned at that point too. |

Which systems can emulate battles against zombie hordes? Do battle with Zombie Dice! (sjgames.com/dice/zombiedice). Oh okay I guess that doesn't quite work >.> |

Is there a feat for melee characters equivalent to Dual Implement Spellcaster in D&D 4e? Two wands? That is pretty pimp. penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/5/19 Or perhaps you're forgetting one thing. Make that three things. penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/1/26 |

As a GM, how does one deal with all of the players playing nearly identical characters? +1 I believe this advice can be applied to any setting/genre/game. |

Does movement continue after an Opportunity Attack? Added where in PHB it mentions opportunity attacks. Being more clear then just say what I think I know |

What is a good pdf/excel/app to use to create a computerized character sheet and power cards without the DDI (Dnd Essentials) The last link you have to dnd4.com I think has an editable pdf of the official character sheet near the bottom of the "Character Sheet" page. |

Will magic items with raw stats break game balance in DnD4e? I think such changes would have such a vast change on the mechanics of not only the core rules but almost every class in general, especially if you go for the stat increases that WoW normally holds even at low levels, that I'd probably advise against it. I'd try to look for another game that fits the bill then try and adapt D&D for this use. Then again, if you can get it to work then by all means go for it! It just sounds like an intimidating rules change. |

How to deal with broken combos? Ha! I just read that article & I laughed cause I totally had a Champion of Order in my last campaign & I had discovered that loophole after awhile! It didn't come up too often cause we rarely fought solos (even without that loophole we felt solos to be easy) but I'm sure I gave my DM a headache. He didn't complain though since, as stated, it rarely came up but I knew I was essentially "breaking" solo encounters & had he asked I would've obliged to a house rule to tone it down. |

How to deal with broken combos? Make sure when you confront the player that it is in a non-hostile way and explain what you think is broken and why. If not they could just backlash and think they're fine and you're not dealing with the new power properly as the DM. I know that'd probably connect with point 3 of them not being reasonable but if you're not being reasonable when telling them about it then, well, no one's being reasonable and everyone loses. |

Group-wise Combinable Magic Items (each member owns 1) Fun idea! While 3.5 specific, I'd be interested to see the answers and find possible ways to have them in other versions or games. |
