How do I use minions effectively? @F.RandallFarmer Very meta, I like it. I feel like that's the sort of thing you should do once the players have seen all your tricks individually, but haven't seen what happens when you apply several tricks at once. |

How can I make my game more “noir” as a GM? @Sardathrion, my experience with that genre is pretty limited. The most noir thing I've read recently would be Dresden Files. It gets more arcane later on, but the first few books are straight up private investigator work. They translate to gaming very easily too. |

How can you encourage players to portray a “realistic” reaction to in-game stressful/traumatic circumstances? I achieved this once without meaning to. In my Game of Thrones campaign, I killed off the friendliest NPC. Local clergy decided there would be a funeral. The players acted appropriately and one of them even gave a eulogy. Afterwards, the players were somber even out of game. The group had been playing together for ~5 years at that point, but that was the first time a death felt like something more than a plot point. I mention this as a comment, because I'm not sure why it worked and I'm merely sharing the anecdote rather than an explanation. |

How should I make a musical performance into a skill check that is interesting and dynamic? @OddCore, me neither, but that doesn't stop me from trying ;-) |

How should I make a musical performance into a skill check that is interesting and dynamic? Just in case you were considering it, I have brought a guitar to game and tried to roleplay my bardic performances. Never found a way to do it without completely hijacking the game. |

What will happen with DDI subscriptions and online content for 4e? I don't think anyone that isn't a WotC employee knows for sure, but I find it hard to believe that they'd stop taking in subscription fees for content they've already published. |
