I'm new to pathfinder, but my obsessive mind is loving it... thinking through all the possibilities and options... though that leaves me online at a place like this at 3:30 am after 4 h of sleep yesterday... :-( pro's and con's I guess :-D

comment Quick Draw / Quick Sheath Items?
@CatLord As seen in the video there's an extra slash before putting it away (perhaps to get blood off the blade before putting the weapon away? Otherwise it might dry in there, and make it all sticky, which is bad for being able to pull it out fast?) Confirmed: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiburi

comment How to run a campaign for intelligent players with idiot PCs?
I don't think you understood the comments. The problem isn't that the players won't play dumb characters, it's that they do - and thus the GM hadn't found a way to get the info to the characters to have them know enough for the plot to continue.

comment Level of detail in description?
I actually liked the second one better. Gives me an idea of what the room is like at the same time as making me guess what it would smell like. Was that your point?

revised Build Advice For Pathfinder Oracle
took out Defender of Society trait reference, since it can only be taken by fighters - corrected kikko armor and expanded some of the short statements.

comment Does a buckler's defense apply to the PC while shooting arrows through a bow?
Even if you threw a dagger with the buckler arm (accepting the minus 1 to hit) you'd loose the AC bonus until the next round, and that one stretches the willingness to suspend disbelief much less than switching hands a bunch.

Huh? Down? Like back in the bow quiver or what have you? Dropping is a free action, so I'd like to allow dropping the bow to regain Shield bonus in the same round. I guess you could switch hands (free action) - but it messes with my sense of immersion, because rounds are an abstraction. Many things happen at the same time, so it would look silly to just change hands, shoot three times, change hands again. -- Even then I'm not sure if it would work by RAW given the phrase " In any case, if you use a weapon in your off hand, you lose the buckler's Armor Class bonus until your next turn."

comment What should a DM do if a player wants to do something impossible?
How about adding a sentence that most impossible things are handled by RAW or easily figured out by extrapolating RAW - thus in your opinion one should set an impossibly high DC and let them try - or just say no - or what ever it is your opinion is --- plus an explanation. I guess the question isn't really is there a DC, but rather should you let your players try if they couldn't possibly succeed (assume low level medium strength thick stone wall in this example. Even on a 20 he'd be getting no where but closer to breaking his knuckles). --- I'd say add your position to the post!

comment Does a buckler's defense apply to the PC while shooting arrows through a bow?
@NeilSlater are you sure? I thought the comment just established that the bow is probably in the buckler hand. Otherwise you are trying to reach for your arrows with the arm that has a buckler attached to it! Conceivable if they're at your hip... almost. Except drawing an arrow is a free action... I can't easily imagine a bucklered arm not getting caught on something while moving so fast as to be a free action! -- Note the comments on the answer below by Paul Hutton say you'd not get the bonus back until your next turn.

comment Optimized cat dancer
Good question, I do not actually know. - Just assumed since tricks involve one person handling the performer, and awakened animals would defacto be people, thus you would use diplomacy to get them to do things instead of handle animal... thus I think tricks wouldn't apply either. Otherwise I might get an animal handler to teach our fearful halfling rogue the heel trick to get him to come if he doesn't want to :D
