comment Can I make repeated active insight checks, or can I “take 20” on insight checks?
In general, I would not allow repeated active Insight checks. Note that the rules for an Insight check say "Failure: The creature can't try again until circumstances change."

Haha, So it does!

comment Can you delay until you are no longer dazed?
IANAL, so I'm not going to try and argue about what is and is not legally Fair Use; it would only be speculation. You're welcome to edit it if you feel the quote needs to be cut down. However, I do not have a page reference, as my PDFs are not currently available to me, which is why I went with a DDI link instead.

comment Combat With a Focus on Momentum
What is the problem with a system focused on 1v1? It can be just as cinematic as 1vMany or ManyvMany. In Exalted terms, it's the difference between a pair of Exalts duking it out and an Exalt fighting against a swarm of Extras.

comment Dealing with difficult male players, when you're a new female player?
@Mindwin, you're correct that this isn't dealing with the players... but I don't believe players like this should be dealt with. They should be avoided, ignored, and shunned. Behavior like calling someone an "it" is unacceptable in every social context I have ever been in myself, male or female.

comment I have an Ardent-Battlemind, and I need some ideas for feats
Although Brian's got good suggestions for a build, I've gotta upvote this answer as the one actually assisting with the existing character rather than recommending a completely different one.

comment Energy Substitution and Energy Admixture. Usefulness and Mechanics?
Wouldn't most of a town's inhabitants run into a nearby wall and only take a handful of d6 damage? The classic solution to not killing yourself with the Locate City Bomb is to anchor yourself with a chain or stand inside a cage. By that logic, anyone else in the AoE would be comparatively safe so long as they are near an obstruction (in the direction they would be pushed). Thus, it's going to be a lot more effective against targets in an open area (say, a battlefield). Alternatively, use Fell Drain to subtract a level and turn all the 1hd creatures into wights.

comment Should rogues play stealth or tank on D&D?
I can definitely attest to the yo-yo Warden. I recall going from 1 hp to full health in a single turn, once. (Level 8 or 9 or thereabouts.) Admittedly, that required IIRC a daily, an encounter, and an item daily, but as the class with the most health in the game, that's just silly.
