 comment Staying in character and taking it all seriously
Played LARPS, even owned a LARP chapter for several years. I do agree it is easier in some respect. For example when you are talking with NPCs you are really talking to a group of folks like you would in real life instead of a single referee playing a bunch of personae. But LARPS have their own limitation due to the live-action and are not as flexible in the variety of situation they can depict. I feel it is more accurate to say that they both have strengths and weaknesses in terms of roleplaying.
