Do any games have XP (or a similar concept) as an in-game construct? Very nice. I didn't know this game yet, but it seems to be in the style of Cory Doctorow's Magic Kingdom-novel. Only Whuffie is now Flow. |

Should a group keep the same GM, or choose different GMs for every new campaign/system? I accepted the answer of F. Randall Farmer now, but take also a look at the answers of Pulsehead and mxyzplk, they gave good reasoning too. |

What is the reason for introducing the rule for Attacks of Opportunity in D&D? So it boils down to 'simulating realism' (at least to some degree). All three reasons you give are about more realism. But if we look at RPGs, simulating realism shouldn't always the most important design-goal. Are there reasons for AoO besides realism? |

What are important things to keep in mind when converting a 3e/3.5e module to Pathfinder? That is basically also what I do, I play Rise of the Runelords with a Pathfinder-group. But I would add, that I use the monster-description from the Pathfinder-Bestiary if that monster is available there instead of the gven values in the path. For other enemies I only convert specially important NPC. But you should calculate CMD and CMB beforehand (at least for grappling monsters). |
