The Harm section of the book says the following about a player character (PC) taking harm from another character:
When you inflict harm on another player’s character, the other character gets +1Hx with you (on their sheet) for every segment of harm you inflict. If this brings them to Hx+4, they reset to Hx+1 as usual, and therefore mark experience.
So far, so simple.
So now my question is: if PC Anne wants PC Bob to inflict harm onto her, does Anne receive the +1Hx with Bob?
Does she really learn anything new about Bob, if she wants him to do it? Or is it still worth the knowledge that, indeed, Bob will hurt her, if she wants to?
What is your approach?
