Dec 12, 2017 at 19:42 | comment | added | Hey I Can Chan | @VoromirKadien Huh. Yeah, sure, I suppose, though that's a lot of resources to expend for that reduced DC. I mean, seriously, we're typically talking a 1 to 9 DC difference for ability score emulation or a 1 to 16 DC difference for caster levels faking. This rogue talent'd be my last resort—burning full round actions is no fun, especially since it's, in essence, two full round actions. (That is, one move action that provokes each to retrieve the two scrolls then a full round that also provokes to activate the scroll!)

Dec 12, 2017 at 19:31 | comment | added | Hey I Can Chan | @VoromirKadien Yeah, a rogue could use the lower-caster-level spell to cast the higher-caster-level spell, I guess, but I don't think there would often be a need to.
Dec 12, 2017 at 19:20 | comment | added | Voromir Kadien | It doesn't say I cant use the lower level spell to cast the higher level one. Of course the Magic Vestments would have the effects of a caster level 1 which means it would last for 1 hour and enhancement bonus of 0... so its a bad example...
