This is an out-of-game issue manifesting as an in-game one. | |

The cleric can still fight with the sword. @Fincarn: did you add that last sentence into your question's background/set up? That RP aspect doesn't solve the tension at your table, but it certainly supports the idea behind how this sword fits this character. Have you raised that point in your discussions with your group? | |

But if you want an "in-character" explanations, part is that my character did the heavy lifting defeating the ghost and the second part is that my character is a cleric of the life-domain, his god is Torm, a benevolent warrior god. | |
