Timeline for My players have a habit of always torturing enemies they capture for information, how can I make our adventure less macabre?

It could be a contingency spell or perhaps somebody could be scrying on the guy who gets captured, and if he starts to talk they cast a fatal spell on him via the scry. Or maybe rather than killing him, you could just cast dominate on him and make him give false information instead. Maybe some kind of spell to make him mute? When you add magic into the mix, all sorts of fun ideas are possible :)

Sep 14, 2020 at 12:10 | comment | added | peacetype | +1 for “Does anyone here speak their language?“ Then you insert an NPC translator into the situation, and you end up with this :) youtu.be/OtsA8j3Tv1E
