Jan 13, 2023 at 2:40 | comment | added | ShadowRanger | I think this is a 100% legitimate reading of the rules (resolving various ambiguities in legitimate ways); Silvery Barbs is referring to taking the lower result on "the d20" being rerolled, it makes no reference to any other d20s that might be involved, so the advantage rules still apply between rerolled and unrerolled d20s. That said, it's an insane outcome (makes Silvery Barbs completely useless when the original roll had advantage), and there are other ways to resolve the ambiguities that don't get this result, so I'd never use it in a game unless my goal was to nerf Silvery Barbs. | |

You choose which one.” You, that is, the person doing the rolling, gets to choose. | |
