The build: Commoner 1/SaintCleric 6

I'm recommending the saint in lieu of the more standard cleric, simply because you'll be casting animate dead so many times. 25 gp of onyx per hit die will really add up. With the saint's domain mechanics, you can animate a whole bunch of chickens for free. How much depends on if you're animating 12? (the specific math is fiddly, make sure to doublechecksuggestions courtesy of Cirdec) individual-serving burning chickens at a time, or the group meal swarms.

You'll be able to make 3+wis mod of these castings per day, which should see you and your burning flock through. For ease of mathThe cleric, work out with your DM rules for a burning undead chicken swarmaccess to the spell (nominal rules suggested below, with a very conservative reading), so youBlood Money via Dreamed Secrets can just treat itcast Animate Dead for so long as a single monster (or a few monsters)

As the saint has an interesting set ofher Lesser Restoration spells and adequate combat capabilities, you should be an asset (but not overwhelmingly so) to the party otherwise, if they can ignore your giant katamari ball of flaming undead chickenshold out.

Given that you could be a normal cleric animating the dinosaurs you're fighting, the DM should be OK with thisthese 3rd party classfeats, so long as you agree not to reanimate the corpses of the enemies: the blessings of The Colonel are to be reserved for the blessed beasts only.

If Saint isn't allowed, go normal cleric. Each casting of N animated chickens will cost you HD*25 gp of onyx. The juju zombie uses "rare herbs" instead, which may be acceptable alternate material component to your DM to fit your environment. Your total wealth by level at 7 is 23,500. You can control a max of 24 HD of burning undead chickens through the text of animate dead. Looking at the guide to undeath, you'll also have the command undead bucket, providing ... 6 more HD of burning undead chickens.

  • Patron: The Outer God of Chickens and Death. The Colonel.

    • Patron's Domain: Death

    • Patron's Weapon: Falkata (Closest thing I could find to a very large butcher's knife)

Alternate Race TraitHappily, we worship the outer god, known as "The Colonel." His white beard and unspeakable chicken practices force us to acknowledge him as a Great Old One. Therefore, we have the simpler build.

Feats: Mystic Past Life (add prestidigitation * Human Bonus: Quick Draw (so you can flavour your sauces that you useneeded to "enhance" the pre-cooked flesh which slid off the chickens' bones... not just waste time), command undead * 1: Skill Focus: Diplomacy * Traits: Chicken Infested, animate dead. make wholeMagical Knack * 3: Spell Focus (just so you can play with a necrocraft when you get bored of swarmsNecromancy) * 5: Diabolical Negotiator (wisdom to diplomacy, N others which fit themeincrease more than two steps. Feats * 7: Undead Master

  • 1: Skill Focus: Diplomacy
  • Flaw: Chicken Infested
  • Bonus: Quick Draw (needed to ... not just waste time)
  • 3: Spell Focus (Necromancy)
  • 5: Diabolical Negotiator (wisdom to diplomacy, increase more than two steps. All the better for selling "delicious, cooked from the inside, boneless chicken wings".)
  • Bonus Saint 5: Guided Hand (I'd say evasion, but dinos tend not to cast fireball)
  • 7: Undead Master

With undead master, we have CL10CL11 with regards to animate dead. Giving us 5 to 11 burning chicken skeleton swarms. In combat, stick close to someone so you can use bodyguard. (If you find yourself using it more frequently to better effect, trade out diabolical negotiator for combat reflexes).

A note on saints and diplomacy. I chose the diplomacy focus because a saint gets: "The Saint adds his class level to Diplomacy and Intimidate checks against those of another faith." Thus, you'll be amazingly effective (relative to a non-invested character) at diplomacy against anyone who doesn't worship The Colonel.

As per Cirdec's answer, the spell Blood Money may be used instead of the saint shenanigans. Unfortunately, Blood Money is magus 1, sor/wis 1, witch 1. And the best swarm-chicken casters are clerics.

HappilyTherefore, we worshipmust class the cleric as an outer god, known as "The Colonel." His white beard and unspeakable chicken practices force us to acknowledge him as a Great Old One. Therefore, we have the simpler build:
