This is why I'm not sad for you, wizards have a different loot pattern than e.g. fighters - you get scrolls over time like other PCs get stuff over time, but when you get a spellbook it's like winning the lottery. | |

But yes, in fact in the Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords AP I stole a really high level wizard's spell book. I got what I wanted out of it and ended up returning it via messenger, out of professional courtesy (the rest of my party thought I was crazy). | |
