I let the player come back due to the power of a powerful artifact present in the dungeon. However, upon 'rebirth' the character roles on a table to determine what catastrophic effect the death has upon their (unfortunate) character. This way death has a negative consequence, but isn't to bad and makes sense. Of course, if they try to leave the dungeon before recovering the artifact, their body begin to quickly wither away. | |
